Different Between Alveoli and Alveolus :)

Bila baca buku Teks Science or buku rujukan, certain student confius different between Alveoli and Alveolus.. So.. alveolus and alveoli is the same thing, the different is it plural or singular.

Alveolus is for SINGULAR. I repeat, SINGULAR

So that, Alveoli is for PLURAL. 

Example: 
Alveolus 
Gas exchange in Alveolus

Alveoli
Gas exchange in the lungs takes places inside the alveoli by diffusion.
